IMDEA Energy is opening a Research Assistant Position for the Electrochemical Processes Unit to work on Development of electrodes based on redox polymers and their application in sustainable batteries

The requirements are as follows:

Tasks Description:

• To synthesize redox polymers following advanced polymerization routes.
• To carry out the physicochemical and electrochemical characterization of redox monomers and polymers.
• To formulate electrode inks and prepare electrodes based on redox polymers.
• Assembling & Electrochemical Testing of polymer-based batteries (coin cells).
• Communication and dissemination of scientific results through high-quality scientific channels, including high-impact scientific publications, conference presentations, etc.
• Supervision of undergraduate students.

Compulsory Requirements:

• BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or equivalent.
• Official Master degree in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
